TNS Podcast Episode 30: Online Lead Conversion with Adam Bailey
How to Create Conversations with Your Next Potential Client or Customer After they Register on Your Website
Welcome to the Thrive Not Survive Podcast. A show we put together to help you, the real estate agent put actionable strategies into practice to help you grow and take your business to new heights.
Today’s episode is a little different, I won’t be live today and it won’t all be me, in fact, we are doing this podcast a la Tim Ferris.
If you ever listen to a Tim Ferris podcast he usually interviews his guest and does a full on intro where he is promoting his products or sponsors….well, I don’t have any sponsors and we aren’t selling any products or have any endorsements….maybe I should get on that. But I digress.
Recently we had a mini Thrive Not Survive event for our brokerage agents...for those of you that have no idea what a Thrive Not Survive event is, they are events we have been putting on all year, once a quarter, where we bring in speakers or have them appear via video conference to bring mass value to our agent community here in the Calgary market.
It is like a mini real estate conference 4 times per year where agents can come and learn for 4 hours out of their day and then take what they’ve learned and begin to implement and execute.
One of our guests was Adam Bailey. He brought the fire for our people and a lot of them wanted him to go longer, but we were stuck for time.
I wanted to make sure that you get introduced properly to Adam before we queue up his video so let’s do that right now:
Adam Bailey was born and raised in Wichita, Ks. He has a strong entrepreneurial spirit with a get it done right the first time mentality. Yes, in the last seven years Adam's team has closed 5811 homes with a small team and built a resource call centre.
When Adam is not helping others he loves to play soccer, poker, camp, fish, and spend time with family and friends.
“Simply put, success is not a destination but rather a journey paved with pebble stones of learning lessons."
Before we dive in I want you guys to remember something….the person on the other end of that phone is another human being.
They aren’t a lead. They are a potential customer or client that may or may not be looking for your help and expertise in finding a home.
I want you to look at what Adam talks about over the next 25 minutes as conversation starters, not scripts.
Not closing lines. No hot openers. This is a way for you to get your potential client engaged in a conversation about their wants and needs.
Come at it from this vantage point and that human being on the other end of the line won’t smell your commission breath.
Alright, rant over. Let’s get into this.
